I’m Holly Maxam, an Asian-American musician and mixed media artist.

My current projects include:
– Sewing/reworking old clothing
– Victorian seaweed pressing/framing
– Glass bead jewelry
– Photography/videography
– Painting/mixed media
– Music production/songwriting
– Visual/non-visual poetry

I was born in Baguio City, Philippines, and grew up in the Midwest and Northwest US, traveling whenever possible. I began creating poetry when I was 8, after picking up my first Shel Silverstein book. This developed into writing and composing music during middle/high school. After graduating in 2021, I picked up photography and videography. For me, the entirety of art has always been a study. Whether I’m experimenting with color, texture, light, or sound, my goal is growth and expansion.

I currently live along the Salish coast in Bellingham, WA, and work for a digital marketing agency alongside a truly lovely and endlessly creative team.
